Custodial History
Materials in the Office of Academic Affairs Records are a collection of memos, booklets, office records, and other papers that reside at the University of Texas at Tyler. The collection was received by the University Archives and Special Collections in April 2021 from the Office of Academic Affairs. Archives practicum intern Maggie Hodges completed processing.
Processing Information
Upon acquisition of this collection, there was no discernible order of the records. Therefore, one was made based on subjects found in the contents of the files. Most of the files were already correctly named, in which case those names were kept. If files had no names, or if papers had no files, a title was given demonstrating a summary of the contents. In doing this, similar content is found in multiple series. A few computer disks were found within the collection. These were separated from the paper materials and placed together in a media box. Computer discs were sorted by subject into existing series and subseries.
