Scope and Contents
Series consists of copied newspaper columns, articles, and bylines authored by Sarah McClendon; handwritten and typed article drafts; newsletters from Sarah McClendon’s news bureau and syndication service; research material drafts, notes, and manuscripts for “My Eight Presidents”, “Mr. President! Mr. President!” and uncompleted projects including a book on female veterans. Research material in this series primarily covers Presidents Roosevelt-Bush, the White House as an institution, Bobby Baker, William Weiland, and John Tower. This series also contains copies of Barbara Honegger’s “October Surprise”.
