This series is comprised of regular publications and promotional materials compiled by or distributed through the Office of Marketing and Communications both on campus and to the community at large. Materials span from 1974-2009. Significant gaps exist in subseries A (Forums), C (UT Tyler Magazines), and D (News Releases). With regards to subseries A, it is unknown whether the gaps are a product of publishing errors or whether they indicate missing records. Gaps in subseries C presumably indicate missing records, although some can be viewed digitally (see finding aid note for related materials). Gaps in subseries D may indicate missing news releases (prior to Dec 1985 and after December 1997). Again, see finding aid note for related materials for select news releases after 2001. Subseries E may include some receipts (see Series I for related materials). These materials have been kept with related promotional materials in order to reflect original order. Subseries E reflects a small percentage of publications relating to University departments and programs, as materials may not have been compiled regularly by the original office. The University Archives may contain independent collections related to these departments.
